With a vision of making his own wine, Robert Strommer began writing the history of the winery. As a trained industrial mechanic, he gradually made the transition to wine and wine tavern operations. During the establishment of the business, Thomas Strommer was not yet aware of his path in the company. As a trained bricklayer, he initially spent most of his free time at reggae, Goa and drum 'n' bass festivals. He wore his dreadlocks with conviction and, together with his dog Rasta, lived the chilled spirit of a dancehall caballero. Eventually, the tide turned. Today, Thomas runs Robert u. Purgi together with his partner Tina and whirlwind Aimee. With the support of mastermind Robert, they combine traditional viticulture with new creative marketing ideas and win people over with their wines, which are produced with passion and love. Many projects, such as the switch from mechanical to higher-quality, gentler manual grape processing, have already been realised. There will be no shortage of new ideas, higher quality standards and broader investments in the future.
