Planeta winery was founded only in 1995, but in a few years has been able to carve out a role of absolute protagonist in the world of wine. Planeta is a symbol of Sicily that has been able to re-launch. It would be impossible to represent a region well faceted from a single vineyard. For this reason, Planeta has six different seals in six different areas: Sambuca Sicily and Menfi (Agrigento), Vittoria (Ragusa), Noto (Syracuse), Castiglione di Sicilia (Catania) and Capo Milazzo (Messina). From different soil and climatic conditions, can born totally different wines that tell different cores of the same region: so Planeta can support typical varieties such as Fiano and Carricante or a good Chardonnay or Cabernet Sauvignon in order to tell the story and the traditions of Sicily, bringing in the glass poetry and haunting beauty of this land that gives the wine features different but equally fascinating.
