Cono Sur is a confident winery located in Chile, situated in the picturesque Colchagua Valley in Chimbarongo. Unlike many other wineries, Cono Sur is not a traditional family-owned business. Instead, the focus here is on producing modern, high-quality, and affordable wines in a contemporary winery. The grapes used come from various wine regions across Chile and are processed in the modern cellar under the guidance of Matías Ríos. This ambitious winemaker was exclusively featured in "The Winemaker 100" in 2020. At Cono Sur, sustainable grape cultivation is of utmost importance. Artificial fertilizers and synthetic pesticides have no place in their vineyards. The result is grapes of the highest quality, showcased in wine lines such as Cono Sur Reserva, Limited Edition, and as an Icon wine.
