The winery is located in the municipality of Gols in the Burgenland wine-growing region of Neusiedlersee. Viticulture has been practised in the family since the 17th century. The winery has been managed by Georg Preisinger since the beginning of 2010. The vineyards cover 10 hectares on the eastern shore of Lake Neusiedl. Two thirds of the vineyards are planted with the red wine varieties Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, St. Laurent, Pinot Noir and Merlot, and one third with the white wine varieties Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Welschriesling and Rivaner. The highest value is placed on vineyard care. The grapes are processed in such a way as to reflect the terroir and the variety in the wine and thus produce wines that are typical of their origin. As far as possible, no chemicals or technology are used. Since 2011, rockets have adorned the labels, constellations the capsules. The idea was to focus on the history of the vineyard (planted with St. Laurent in 1969). 1969 was also the year of the legendary moon landing. The Golser artist Nikolaus Eberstaller designed the labels. Since 2019, the winery has been cultivated according to the Homa-firetechnique. These are the first vineyards to be cultivated with pure ash. "THAT MAKES US UNIQUE!"
