    vineyard:

Vineyards in the plain Seewinkel, a corner (german: winkel) of Austria on the eastern shore of Lake Neusiedl in the Burgenland region, just an hour’s drive from Vienna. The Pannonian (continental) climate brings hot dry summers and very cold winters. During cool autumn evenings, evaporation from the lake creates heavy fog, which covers the area until midday. This helps to create the necessary conditions for the formation of the noble rot, botrytis cinerea, that is the key to the immense concentration, sweetness and complexity of this sweet wines.

    Ernte:

Manual harvest in several passes with very low yields, each berry is picked individually.

    Ageing:

Aged for 12 month in 85% stainless steel tanks and 15% in large wooden casks.
